- A minimum of 7 years of experience managing an information systems department
- Solid technical knowledge of distributed systems (client-server, host-based), networks, programming, digital and satellite technology and PC based applications
- Outstanding communication, listening and organizational skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

DIVISION CONTROLLER
Timber Products Company, a well established, diversified wood products firm with multiple facilities in Southern Oregon, has an opening for a Division Controller in Medford, Oregon. We are a family oriented business that prides itself on integrity, fairness, loyalty and quality.
The Division Controller will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Managing the financial reporting and accounting systems for assigned operation(s) while complying with region accounting policies and procedures.
- Producing monthly financial statements and annual reporting packages accurately and timely.
- Working with the operations management in developing financial analysis for decision making processes including operational, product breakeven analysis, and product costing.
The Successful Candidate will have the following Skills:
- 5 years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing or wood products environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting is required and a CPA or CMA preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
- Advanced computer skills including a strong background in Microsoft Office applications (excel, word, Access, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Axapta accounting program.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST/ PROGRAMMER

The Information Technology Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to:
· Implementing business solutions utilizing a combination of software development, hardware, network structural changes, and/or external entities.
· Obtains requirements and develops specifications for automated systems; evaluates user requests for new or modified computer systems; consults with user to identify current operating procedures and clarify system objectives.
· Designs data processing procedures and prepares written system and procedural documentation.
· Prepares users to use systems and software by conducting training sessions.
The Successful Candidate will have the following Skills:
- B.S. Degree with major in Computer Science/MIS or related field
- One to three years work experience
- Experience in support of Microsoft products.
- Must have a strong familiarity with PC hardware
- Proven track record of software development
- Experience supporting wide area networks with multiple platforms
- Exposure to .Net technology a plus
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing and to effectively participate in a team based work culture.

ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST I - Receptionist

MAJOR TASKS
- Responsible for greeting the public while representing the company in a professional manner.
- Receives incoming calls from multi-line switchboard and routes to appropriate extensions.
· Administrative support to management and staff including A/P and Payroll functions.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years of office or reception experience utilizing a large multi-line switchboard.
· Possess strong computer/data entry skills including competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
· Attention to detail and the ability to conduct work in a timely, accurate, and organized manner.

Seasonal Forest Technician
Seasonal Forest Technician Successful candidate will be based in Yreka, California or surrounding area. Summer field season Normal 5 day, 45-50 hr/week $11.50 to $13.00 depending on qualifications and experience. A housing allowance will be provided to hired individuals.
Under the direction of a RPF Forester the employee will: Assist in preparation of survey maps using computerized GIS systems. Cruise timber Assist in cruise data input, and preparation of cruise reports. Assist in conducting vegetation habitat surveys. Assist in timber harvest plan layout activities. Other duties as needed. Interest in or currently enrolled in a university wildlife/forestry program or related field. Ability to work alone and in variable terrain without immediate supervision. Excellent physical condition including good hearing and vision. Current valid driver’s license. Work with multiple personnel in a team environment. Ability to use standard forestry equipment. Have the appropriate personal field clothing and footwear. Educational classes in forestry and dendrology. Have strong quantitative, oral and communication skills. Familiar with computers and software programs, Excel, Word and any GIS. Ability to work safely and participate in the Company’s safety program. Experience driving 4-wheel drive pickups, ATVs, and snowmobiles is desired.
