SCHEDULE SET FOR 2008 GREEN EDUCATIONAL FORUMS
Leading panel producers offer seminars on sustainability programs and materials
SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Timber Products Company and SierraPine have announced upcoming dates and locations for their series of educational seminars aimed at helping distributors, architects and end users learn the basics about green building.
In addition to addressing the four top areas of confusion about sustainable building – certified wood, green building programs, industry programs and emissions regulations – seminars focus on the effects and opportunities associated with climate change, a review of life cycle analysis, future trends and new sustainable building products.
The next seminar will be held May 20 in Austin, Texas. Following the Texas swing, upcoming green educational seminars are planned for:
- Portland, Ore., June 12
- Denver, July 10
- Eugene, Ore., July 31
- Chicago, Aug. 14
- New York, Sept. 10
- Boston, Oct. 16
