Timber Products company launchyes Pre-Finished Line Solution for Woodworkers
New RhinoCoat panels contain no VOCs and meet KCMA standards
SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Applying a finish coat to hardwood plywood can be an expensive and time-consuming ordeal, especially for drawer components and cabinet interiors. That’s why Timber Products Company has introduced new pre-finished hardwood plywood panels for woodworking manufacturers who want to improve their efficiencies.
The company’s RhinoCoat™ pre-finished hardwood plywood reduces production times and increases productivity by offering a finished panel that can be used in a wide variety of low-wear applications. Since these pre-finished products are ready for processing upon arrival, they give woodworkers the ability to complete a project faster and more efficiently.
“Timber Products Company’s Spectrum Division has invested in state-of-the-art equipment and expert personnel to offer a finish that is second-to-none,” said Roger Rutan, Vice President of Timber Products Company. “Our pre-finished panels have a strong resistance to scratches and are available in a full range of wood species. They also allow finishing labor to focus on more critical areas of production, which can improve the bottom line when it comes to completing projects.”
Available with a clear finish and in different gloss levels, RhinoCoat pre-finished panels comply with the company’s stringent environmental requirements. The production process includes innovative ultraviolet curing technologies, which do not emit volatile organic compounds or formaldehyde.
“All of our hardwood plywood is manufactured with sustainable materials, so the pre-finished component had to rise to the same level of certification,” said Rutan. “Woodworkers can be assured that our pre-finished panels can help them comply with any green building standards they need to meet.”
All RhinoCoat prefinished panels meet AWI, KCMA and
miscellaneous ANSI standards.
