Our particle board manufacturing facility in Medford has been operating since 1965. We upcycle fiber from our hardwood plywood and softwood plywood facilities, as well as other wood working facilities that generate waste to make our particle board. In addition, we reclaim everything that’s leftover after sizing the finished product at our Medford facility and put it back into our wood stream. While we manufacture various types of pine and Doug Fir particle board, including M1, M2, and M3 grade, at other facilities, our Medford facility produces Door Core particle board at LD1 and LD2 grades.
Hardwood plywood is a natural product that benefits enormously from modern engineering. Supplied by timber from our very own responsibly managed forests, our hardwood plywood is environmentally certified and meets the U.S. emission requirements. At our Medford facility, we produce hardwood plywood that uses real hardwood veneer with a softwood plywood core for a high-quality hardwood plywood that is versatile and long-lasting.
Timber Products Company ships directly from our facility to the customer, all while leaving out the middle man in the process. We ship our products by rail and truck, including trucks from our very own TP Trucking division. Talk to one of our experts if you have any questions about our products, shipping, sustainability, and more.

We’re deeply committed to improving our processes for greater efficiency and quality. Our Medford facility is at the forefront of using the latest wood manufacturing technology, such as programmable logic controllers, to effectively control the entire process and ensure consistent, high-quality results for our customers’ products.

We use any leftover sander dust from the manufacturing process to fire our modified triple-pass dryers. Our dryers use a unique bio filter that removes harsh chemicals and pollutants from the air using microscopic bacteria.
To achieve and exceed our custom cut needs, we’ve created a unique machine center that optimizes the reduction of waste by 4% and improves overall productivity by 21%.See Our Particle Board
Our new 12-section USNR veneer dryer has an automated outreach system, feeder, unloader, and conveying line that goes to the vision scanning system. We use two Ventek scanners: One to check for roughness of the veneer, while the other scanner detects any open knots, defects, and splits for a consistent grade. From there, the veneers go to an automatic 12-bin stacking system.
In an effort to reduce waste, remnants of our softwood veneer – that would otherwise be unusable – are glued to a size that can be made into a full quality softwood veneer for the inner plies of our hardwood plywood panels.
Timber Products is committed to preserving the forests we love. Our products are all made with responsible manufacturing and harvesting programs to minimize negative effects on the environment. See what other actions Timber Products is taking to continually think green.See Our Hardwood Plywood
