Customer Announcement Regarding COVID-19

At Timber Products, nothing is more important to us than family. Our core values of “Do The Right Thing” and “Customer Centricity” serve as guiding principles as we formulate our response to the continuously evolving Coronavirus situation. Our goals moving forward are to prioritize the health and safety of our employees while working to satisfy the needs of our customers with minimal disruption to their business.

Last evening, California Governor Gavin Newsom issued a statewide order for all Californians to shelter in place. Timber Products operates facilities in Martel, CA and Yreka, CA. “Workers who support the manufacture and distribution of forest products, including but not limited to timber, paper and other wood products” are classified as essential and critical infrastructure under the guidelines established by the Department of Homeland Security. Timber Products meets these criteria and we intend to operate our facilities to meet order demand from our customers.  More information is available here:

Timber Products continues to monitor the Coronavirus situation, taking precautions and implementing safeguards as recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). We have specific protocols to maintain a safe work environment and we have the necessary elements in place to operate including, but not limited to:

  • Following guidelines from the CDC including social distancing and sanitizing protocols
  • Suspension of all non-essential travel
  • Working remotely, when possible

These are unprecedented times and the world is in a serious situation. At Timber Products, we are doing our part to limit the virus’ impact and maintain the ability to service our customers.
