The 2018 Bi-Mart Country Crossings Music Festival presented by Timber Products Co. and TP Trucking will set Central Point, Ore., dancing with its stellar line-up of headliners. The four-day event will feature musical legends and tomorrow’s hottest artists performing across two stages. The party gets even more exciting for Timber Products’ customers who have the chance to get behind the scenes at our local timber and milling operations.
In conjunction with the festival, Timber Products is hosting a three-day customer appreciation event where boot-stomping music is just the icing on the cake. On July 26, a small group of customers will get a peek at operations in Northern California, including a rare opportunity to view the company’s forest land during the height of summer timber operations. From the forest, visitors will move to the Medford, Ore., complex where they’ll have an opportunity to tour a veneer workshop and explore the workings of our hardwood plywood and particle board operations.
On July 27 and 28, Timber Products will host group excursions, followed by dinner back at the music festival in the hospitality area. It’s the perfect opportunity for Timber Products customers to get to know one another, exchange tips, and discuss ideas for working with a wide variety of wood materials. The action all ends back at the Jackson County Expo in time for musical performances from Cole Swindell (July 26), Alan Jackson (July 27) and Brad Paisley (July 28).
All in all, more than 30 artists are scheduled to take the stage during the festival, so there may be some Timber Products fans who don’t make the tours. That’s alright; they’lll have the opportunity to learn more about the company while at the event. As in years past, TP Trucking will have one of it’s top-of-the-line vehicles on display. The recognizable truck is expected to draw in eyes, as well as potential future members of the TP Trucking and Timber Products teams. We’ll be recruiting drivers, as well as a range of positions at our Southern Oregon and Northern California facilities. Anyone interested in a position, or learning more about how the company operates, can come check out the videos that will be looping with information about the Timber Products culture.
Great music and great company—what better way to celebrate the summer?
