Our softwood veneer begins with the approximately 350,000 trees that we plant each year. These seedlings are planted by elevation and seed zone to maintain the best genetics for future generations. Once harvested, timber from our forestlands is shipped to our softwood veneer mill in Yreka, California.
Our softwood veneer comes in a variety of thicknesses and lengths. We manufacture our softwood veneer to the tightest tolerances, making it ideal for use in the manufacturing of hardwood plywood, softwood plywood, and laminated veneer lumber.
Softwood veneer produced at our Yreka veneer facility is utilized across a broad spectrum of veneer-based products. Products made with our softwood veneers include hardwood plywood, laminated veneer lumber and softwood plywood (commodity and commercial).
One of the main benefits of our softwood veneer is its ability to bolster the quality of hardwood plywood panels. As hardwood veneer skins become increasingly thinner, the quality of the softwood under the veneer face and back becomes essential to the quality of the panel.
Shipments of veneer produced in Yreka is done exclusively by truck. TP Trucking is an excellent resource for moving your veneer. Please call to inquire.
